Bemuse began as the buzz of an idea whilst co-founders Anna and Nataliya were looking for healthy, non alcoholic drinks that tasted truly celebratory.
Drinking moderately is a lifestyle choice for many, as it was for us. But what to enjoy for that gentle evening unwind? For a birthday toast? Or with the Sunday roast?
We were intrigued by the idea of a modern mead; a characterful drink using fermented honey at its base. Honey offers complexity of flavour, as well as marvellous health benefits.
To top it off, as nature lovers we understood the essential role that bees play in the biodiversity underpinning the entire food chain. We knew that by investing in honey cultivation we could make a positive impact at the same time as creating something delicious.
Bemuse’s naturally fermented non alcoholic sparkling wines use only honey, water and yeast as their primary ingredients. They have a base of raw, British sourced honeys; each one chosen to complement the natural flavourings in their respective blend.
The taste is curiously different… You’ll find a complexity that can pair naturally with food, or make for a sublime cocktail base. At the same time they’re astonishingly low calorie, low sugar, gluten free and guilt free! But don’t just take our word for it…
